Standard iron-core DC motors suffer from magnetic saturation and high iron losses at high speeds. In contrast, our coreless brushless DC (BLDC) motors feature a slotless stator layout. High-energy rare earth magnets (NdFeB) rotate inside the slotless coil, allowing our motors to spin up to 25,000 RPM without the heat generation that limits standard motors. Additionally, because there are no magnetic laminations to attract the magnet poles, the motor rotates completely smoothly without detent forces. This property is crucial for applications requiring high speed stability and high precision positioning, such as surgical robots or optical positioning stages.
